Hi friends! My name is Ashley and I'm a junior in Branford College majoring in neuroscience. Outside of school, I love singing with my acapella group Pitches & Tones, volunteering with Girls on the Run, and most importantly, doing my job as Secretary of TAS. I'd say my favorite pastime is eating food, especially all the delicious food at TAS events!

Hi! I'm Ariel, a rising junior in Stiles and one of the co-mods for TAS. I'll be majoring in S&DS and Psychology, but in my free time I love exploring New Haven food, cooking up new recipes for TAS, playing volleyball, and sleeping! Looking forward to meeting everyone ❤

Hi, I’m Brian (Chang)! I’m a junior in Trumbull College majoring in Biomedical Engineering from SoCal (wow, notice any similarities with Tiff yet…). I joined TAS last year and not being a part of it sooner is one of my bigger regrets from first year — it’s such a fun org with amazing people and delicious food (come through for all the food!).

Hi! My name is Brian, and I'm a junior in Pauli Murray College. I'm from Queens, NY, and I joined TAS in the fall of my first year and am now Treasurer. I'm super excited to get to talk to you all and really happy to chat about anything!!!

Hi! My name is Chloe (I go by Chlobalt sometimes) and I'm from the Bay Area of California. I love biology (am an EEB major), Kpop, cats, and peanut butter. My headphones probably make my spirit animal pretty obvious :P I'm the Media Chair of TAS, which means I make all the event banners and am in charge of the relentless social media spam you'll get from us! ;) Outside of TAS, I'm also involved in two a cappella groups and the Kpop dance team Yale Movement. My favorite Taiwanese dessert is 涼沙圓, and my favorite thing about TAS is having a really nice tight-knit community that's full of people who have the same accent as me when they speak Mandarin hehe. Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Hi! I’m Joy and I’m a rising junior in Trumbull (although I’m living off campus this year). I’m majoring in psychology with a neuroscience track and potentially doubling with E&EB. As one of the Cultural Chairs for TAS, one of my favorite memories is cooking in the AACC kitchen with a bunch of the board members in preparation for our Tastes of Taiwan event and jamming out to Christmas songs way too early in the year. Apart from TAS, I am also on the Yale Fencing Team and the Yale Badminton Team, I volunteer for HAPPY, and I work at the gym and the medical school as a research assistant. Even though this semester, and potentially this year, will mostly be online, I’m excited to meet all of the new TAS members and I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone!

I'm Pearl, and I'm a Cultural Chair for TAS. I help brainstorm/organize events related to Taiwanese culture, like crafts and food(!). I'm a sophomore and (probably) a CS major, and I'm also involved with SheCode at Yale and the Yale Undergraduate Linguistics Society.

Hi, I'm Sophie and I'm a current junior in Jonathan Edwards College from Louisville, KY. I am studying Economics and Earth & Planetary Sciences, in addition to pursuing an Energy Studies certificate. Some of my hobbies include cheesemaking, hiking, art history, and reading mystery novels. My favorite part of TAS is the welcoming community of incredibly interesting people!

I'm a Biomedical Engineering major from Hacienda Heights, CA. Some of my interests are public speaking, engineering, community service, and basketball. One fun fact about me is that I'm legally blind, and my spirit animal is a dolphin (because my laugh makes me sound like one). My favorite Taiwanese foods are stinky tofu and 滷肉飯, and finally, my favorite thing about TAS is just being surrounded by Taiwanese people who are passionate about Taiwanese culture!

My name is Masayuki, and I'm a Computer Science and Political Science double major at Yale University. I grew up in Redmond, Washington and went to high school in Seattle. Outside of academics, I love playing Ultimate Frisbee, going to TAS events, and hiking. My favorite food is sushi and pasta, separately.
